"Joseph Eisenbach was a successful butcher for all of his life in Sarnia, Ontario after he was registered for, and returned from WWI. See Canadian Archives for his registration record. Uncle Joe and his wife were of retirement age when I was a child and all that I remember is that his was rather stoutly, and stood about 5'8". He and his wife lived in a beautiful apartment above his business that had a grand staircase leading to it. He smoked the best cigars, and oddly enough I found it added a homey feel to their residence. Uncle Joe was about 9 years older than his wife, and he DOTED on her for all of his life. Truly she was the LOVE OF HIS LIFE."
