Louis ""Chris"" Diehl joined his mother, father, and step-daughter, Alexis, on Mother's Day. He was surrounded, as usual by an abundance of loving family and friends.

Chris grew up in Kentucky, transferred to PCB in 1996 to work at the Navy Experimental Dive Unit. He retired in 2009, then began a new career with CACI, taking him to Afghanistan. It was there that he fell ill and returned to PCB and lost his battle with cancer. Chris loved everything in life: fishing, boating, guns, motorcycles and people.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa; his special buddy/grandson ""Cody""; sons, Casey and Christopher; step-sons, Sloan and Cody James; brother, Bud; sisters, Ginny, Kay and Pat; grandchildren, Jasmine, Ricky, EJ, Caleb, Noah and Kinley; nephews, nieces; and many wonderful friends.

A heartfelt ""thank you"" to all the friends who were by his side during his illness; and to Rick, SANDI, Steve, Bill, Jane, for your continual support.

A celebration of Chris' life will be honored from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at The Boatyard Restaurant.
