Mrs. Mary C McBride widow of Leander McBride, died Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock at her home, 1108 Jeanette Street, after an illness of seven months. She was born in Ohio 79 years ago but lived practically all of her life in the city, being a well known and respected resident of the East End and member of the Seventh Day Adventist church.
Mrs. McBride is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. Steve A Nanis of Chicago, by two brothers William Yearian of Marietta and Henry Yearin whose address is unknown, also by a niece and two nephenws, Mrs D. E. Barnes and John and Cecil Taylor, all of Parkersburg.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Leavitt funeral home at Seventh and Avery streets. Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock, the time of the rites having been changed from 2:30 as previously announce. Burial will be made in the Mt Olivet cemetery.
Cemetery office confirmed that this burial is unmarked as of August 2013.
