Hendrik Krajenbrink, age 26, occupation farmer, a single man arrived at the Port of New York, June 11, 1855, departure from Rotterdam, Netherlands, on the ship Farvlinta.
The census of 1860, Ashippun,Dodge county, Wisconsin, on June 1, finds Henry and Mary Ann married, he (age 34) born in Holland, she (age 17)born in New York.

RE: Pierce County, Wisconsin History:
Mary Ann Orton and Henry's [Hendrik] marriage is recorded in Jefferson Co.WI, for Feb 10, 1857. The names of his parents are given as Heinrich and Hannah Grandbring [Krajenbrink], the place of his birth as New York. In the 1870 census he listed himself as coming from Prussia. On his death certificate, Mary stated that he was born in Holland of Barent and Henrietta [Hendrika] Kreanbrink. On May 20, 1862, Henry bought the S1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Sec 18, Rock Elm Twp. and on July 24, 1876, the S1/2 of the NW1/4 of Sec 17. He died of an enlarged liver, attended by Dr. MC. Thompson.
There were five children to this marriage: Henry - 1861 m. Stella; Susan - 1862 m. Frederick Pierce; Mary J - 1865; Sarah - 1869; William - 1874 m. Emily O'Brien, nee Koese.
