Mrs. Eucid (Serena) Boudreau, 67, a resident of 1113 Second Ave. NW in Faribault, passed away unexpectedly at the Rice County District One Hospital on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 28, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Faribault Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 10 a.m. Interment will be made in the family lot in the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault. Friends may call at the Parker Funeral Home Monday afternoon and evening and Tuesday morning until the hour of the service. Parish vigil prayers will be recited at the Parker Funeral Home Monday at 8 p.m. The rosary will be recited at the church Tuesday morning prior to the service by members of the Sacred Heart Rosary Society. Serena Ida Noeth, the daughter of William and Hannah Noeth, was born in Faribault Sept. 25, 1905. April 21, 1927, she was united in marriage to Euclid R. Boudreau at Faribault. They had since made their home in Faribault. Mr. Boudreau passed away on Jan. 20, 1961. Mrs. Boudreau is survived by five sons, Donald, Marvin, Roger, Darrell and David, all of Faribault; by three daughters, Mrs. Beverly Malburg of Ocanside, Calif., Mrs. Jack (Joan) Woods of South St. Paul, and Debra of Faribault; by 5 grandchildren; by a sister, Mrs. Robert (Hannah) Smith of Fond du Lac, Wis.; by a number of nieces, nephews and by other relatives.
