Mr. Howard Hutchison died July 29, about five o’clock a.m. after having
partial paralysis.
He was born February 11, 1860, in Shavers Creek Valley, Huntingdon county, and
was a son of Lewis and Elizabeth Hutchison, both of whom preceded him to the
grave twenty-three years ago. There are living of this family, Mrs. Alice
Cornelius, of Juniata, Mrs. Sarah Graffius, of Pittsburgh, Miss Laura
Hutchison, of Neffs Mills, and Mr. Edward M. Hutchison, of Neffs Mills.
His present home is located about one mile north of Neffs Mills, where has
been engaged in farming for over thirty years. His chief delight seemed to be
in making his home a comfortable and happy spot, as the place so well denotes.
There survive of his family, his wife, Mrs. Howard Hutchison, Mrs. Charles
Hutchison, wife and little grandson, also Carmon L., Mary A. and Benson M., at
home.
The funeral will take place, Friday, August 1, at 10:30 a.m., with services at
the late home, conducted by his pastor, Rev. Garver, of Neffs Mills.
