James L. Bohn

James L. "Jim" Bohn, 66, of rural Lake Delton, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 12, 2010 at his residence.

Memorial funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 6 p.m. at the Reedsburg Church of God, with Pastor Ebbie Sammons officiating. Visitation will be at the Reedsburg Church of God on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the service at 6 p.m.

Jim was born Sept. 7, 1943 in Antigo, the son of Kenneth and Margaret Procknow Bohn. He married Marilyn Tyler in Reedsburg in 1992. Jim was a route delivery person for Holiday Wholesale in Wisconsin Dells for more than 41 years. He lived to work was his simple work ethic and way of life. He loved watching car racing and in his early years he was a stock car driver himself. He also enjoyed animals especially his dogs.

Jim is survived by his wife, Marilyn; sons, Donald Bohn of Baraboo, Ronald Wrezinski of Arkansas, Jason Bohn of Tennessee and Jeff Bohn of Milwaukee; a daughter, Robin (Don) Wepking of Reedsburg; stepsons, Ben (Laura) Weidling Jr. of Montana and Brad (Sharon) Weidling of Lyndon Station; stepdaughter, Melanie Stenson of Wisconsin Dells; a sister, Judy Bohn of Eureka, Ill.; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family.
