Sally was the daughter of Michael and Catherine "Kate" Claffey. She lived most of her live in Manhattan, NJ, until moving to Franklin, NJ three years ago to be close to her sister, Regina and brother-in-law, Ron.

Sally was a dedicated full time caregiver to her Father until his death in 2006 and to her sister, June "Junie". She was an avid crossword puzzler and reader.

Sally worked as a bookkeeper for Handro Realtors in New York City for many years before retiring in 2001. She purchased her first home in 2006 in Franklin and started to drive, earning her driver's license in 2008.

She was predeceased in death by her parents and her brother, Kevin Claffey. Sally is survived by her sisters Regina and her husband Ron and by many cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Franklin on Monday, July 13, with interment in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Hardyston Township. Funeral arrangements were by F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, Franklin.

Sally was loved by many people. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Cause of death: Pulminary Fibrosis
Sally died at Kindred Hospital in Dover.
