The death occurred at his late resident,248 Edwards St., London, Ont., on Janary 27, of Timothy Holdworth, son of the late Benjamin and Mary Ann Holdworth, pioneer settlers in East Oxford, Ontario in his 84th years.
In 1877 he married Emma Jane Sherman of East Oxford and in 1885 they moved from Oriel, Ontario to Mayville, Mich. Later they resided for 25 years in Rockglenn, Saskatchewan, returning to make their home in London, Ont., five years ago.
Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John McCartney and Mrs. Ward Boucher and two sons, Forest and Floyd all of Pontiac, Mich and Carlie of Windsor, Ontario. Two sisters, Mrs. David Secord, of Harley, Ont., and Mrs. Mary Garthwaite of London, also survive.
A Masonic Lodge assisted at the funeral services. Mr. Holdworth was the last living charter member of the Mayville Lodge No 394 F & AM. Burial was made in Mount Pleasant cemetery in London.
