William G. Wynn S/O Joseph and Margaret Amrstrong Wynn of the town of Wynn in Franklin Co Indiana.William and his brother both Enlisted in the Co I 68th Indiana Infantry Civil War. The 68th was involved in some of the fearse battles in the War. James Died during the war and Wm G. remained till the war was over. William Married Febuary 23 1865 in Scipio Indiana to Marietta Cobb. D/O Willard and Submitt Garlinghouse Cobb. The family moved to Illinois after there marriage for abt 5 years and then returned to Indiana and Settled then in Boone Co Indiana. William was a Farmer,Wagoner,Wagon Maker,Drayman among some of his trades.
The family had several Children. Ida C Wynn, Eva,Frank,Samuel,Eliza,Oscar that is known. The family remained in Boone co, Marietta died October 26 1918 age 73
William G died November 1st 1920 age 80
