On December 2, 1925 she married Mr. Roddy. They resided in Drum for a number of years, moving to Rockview August 13, 1951. They operated Roddy's Grocery until retirement on January 1, 1967.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Rockview. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter of Whitewater and served as its worthy matron in 1957, and an honorary member of the Elda Chapter of O.E.S. at Illmo.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two brothers, Andrew J. Smith of Medford, OR and John H. Smith of Toyah, TX, and two sisters, Mrs. Oval Clark of Ashland, OR and Mrs. Jimmy Hardy of San Francisco, CA.
Services were held February 10 at Bisplinghoff Funeral Home. Burial was in Bollinger County Memorial Cemetery near Lutesville.
