Sara Escue, 56, born June 15, 1954, went to be with the Lord on August 20, 2010. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Escue; two sons, William C. "Billy" (Alicia) Escue and Michael E. "Mike" (Crystal) Escue; two sisters, Rebecca Abbott and Vicki Finch; one brother Ted P. Vanderburg; five grandchildren, Caleb, Kimberley, Noah, Maggie Jean and David Escue. She was preceded in death by her parents, William P. Vanderburg and Mary Wilkerson, and by one grandson Connor A. Escue. She was a founding member of Mt. Vernon Memorial Church. Visitation will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home 5-8 p.m. Friday August 27, and Funeral Service will be at Mt Vernon Memorial Church 11 a.m. Saturday, August 28. Burial in Mt Vermon Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Mt Vernon Memorial Church, 777 Fite Road Memphis, TN. 38127.
