Frances Marion Cook's parents came to Ray County, Missouri from Hart County, Kentucky about 1852. Ray County, Missouri land records, Old Union Christian Union Church Records, Lawson, Ray County, Missouri.
ROOS Genealogy Research & Publishing This Published(Pg.87-A) has obit of his son John A., that says The Cooks went to Hennessey, Oklahoma March 1893. The obituary states that later Francis Marion Cook made the run into the Cherokee Strip and staked a claim a half mile west and a mile north of Douglas, Oklahoma.
