Second Lieutenant Clark was the pilot of U.S. Army Air Corps A-20G Havoc #42-86579, serving with 409th Bomb Group, 640th Bomb Squadron.
He was killed in the crash of the twin engine bomber, nine miles northwest of Thomas, Oklahoma.
T/Sgt. LeRoy B. Fahrner and Sgt. Robert Sherrerd also perished.
