Henry Austin was musterd into Company C of the 88th Pennsylvania Volunteers as a Private in Company C on August 24, 1861. He was killed at the Second Battle of Bull Run on August 30, 1862. His body was not recovered. Austin was born in England and lived in Conshohocken, PA.
