Opal Larrentree,91,of Westridge Road, passed away Sunday,Jan.17, 2010, at Landsun Health Service Center.
There will be no public visitation,cremation will take place.
A graveside service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22,2010, at Sunset Gardens Memorial Park with Pastor Brad Coates officiating.
Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Opal Larrentree was born in Brady,Texas to Thomas O. and Bertha(Gentry) Sessom on Sept.3,1918. She loved the outdoors, camping and gardening. She had a green thumb. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Larrentree; daughter,Ann Ferrell; brothers: Tuffy, Luke and Walter Sessom; and sister Jewel Thompson.
She is survived by daughter,Jan Bryant and husband Grady of Hurst,Texas; devoted nephew, Terry Thompson of Carlsbad,N.M.; three sons: Dean White and wife,Carolyn of Carlsbad,NM.,K.P. White of Carlsbad,N.M.and William Larrentree of Ft.Worth,Texas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, J.W. Sessom of Carlsbad,N.M.; and sister Betty Wedeking and husband,Doug of Houston, Texas.
