Mary M. Cleland, 78, of 60 E. Washington St., died Thursday afternoon at the Washington County Hospital.
Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Jessie and Mary Farrow Metz.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas D. Cleland; and one brother, Joseph F. Metz, Sr. of Smithsburg.
Services will be held at the Minnich Funeral Home , 415 E. Wilson Blvd. at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Wilbur Hogevoll will officiate.
Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 7 to 9.
