Husband of Elaine Astrin Simon.

Benjamin, who resided at 3001 Madison Street, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Corporal with Company H, 272nd Infantry Regiment, 69th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on December 21, 1942 in Camden, New Jersey.

He was "Killed In Action" in Germany during the war.

He had served in the Army for two years and five months at the time of his death and was decorated with a Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
