B-29 #42-65203 was lost on a trip from Natal, Brazil to Accra, Ghana on September 18, 1944. The plane never reached it's destination.
The B-29 was declared missing at that time and the crew were declared dead on October 27, 1948.
David was declared "Missing In Action" in the "Line of Duty" on this flight.
