He resided in Baltimore County, Maryland prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on October 10, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was noted as being employed as a routemen and also as Single, without dependents.

Louis was "Killed In Action" during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart.
