, 82, Joplin route 3, died at 12:56 a.m. Wednesday at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Fayetteville, Ark., where he had been a patient two days and after four years of ill health.

Mr. Busick was born Dec. 18, 1915, in the state of Oklahoma.

He resided in Joplin most of his life. He was a self-employed general maintenanceman and a veteran of World War II.

He married Louise Carver on Dec. 20, 1971, at Miami, Okla. She survives.

Additional survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Stout and Mrs. Wanda Price, both of Joplin, and Mrs. Carol Sherman, Panama City, Fla.; four stepdaughters, Mrs Gloria Sliger, Springfield, and Mrs. Pansy Felker, Mrs. Carolyn Cupp and Mrs Leetta Bird, all of Joplin, a stepson, Allen Hall, Joplin, two brothers. Bob Busick, Arcadia, Calif., and Eldon Busick, Kennewick, Wash.; four sisters, Mrs. Lucille Edwards, Galena, Kan., and Mrs. Pauline Ackerson, Mrs. Evelyn Stockam and Mrs. Margie Truex, all of Joplin; 10 grandchildren, 21 step-grandchildren, a great-grandchild and two great-stepgrandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m Friday at Parker Mortuary. Ray Youngs, minister, will officiate

Burial will be in Saginaw Cemetery.

Graveside services will be conducted by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts.

Pallbearers will be Truman Cox, Harrison Cupp Sr., Harrison Cupp Jr., Jim Lowery, Bill Fleming Sr and Bill Fleming Jr.
