Thelma Grace was born to Andrew and Zora Floyd. She was one of five girls, Snoe, Lorena, Francis and Linda and four brothers, Roland, Graham, Hope and Phonell. (all deceased)

Mother as she was affectionally known as was united in Holy Matrimony to Guy Inman and to that union two children were born Clementine and Adolph. Then she was married for a second time to Ted Whitworth and to that union one son Kennth was born.

Grace was a very good cook and always received request from
family members to make her great dishes such as peach cobbler, fried corn, strings beans just to name a few. She enjoyed talking on the phone, eating, crossword puzzels and the news especially CNN.

She was grand-mother to Rodney, Reginald, Raymond McCarthy, Derrick Upshaw, Trenell Whitworth and Denise Wilson, Darsale Hines and Hope nd Christina Whitworth. Great-grandmother to Reginald, Anthony, Raymond, Bobby, Juan, Aaron, LaDereon, Si,Bam and Trenell Jr., Brittany, Albany, Alexandria, Nia and muliple great-great grand children.

My aunt Grace was a very soft spoken lady who was very involved in her church New Hope Missionary Baptist and
she served on the Missionary Committee and Mothers Board.

She and my dad were the last two of their family left and my dad (Phonell Floyd)just past away June 19, 2009, until he fell ill earlier this year he visited her every Sunday and would take her icecream and other things such as peaches, strawberries and watermelon.

A special thanks to Kim Koper Davis for sponsoring my aunts memorial.
