Verda May Detton Swainston Swauger passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010 in Kellogg, Idaho. She was 91 years old. She was born April 25, 1919 in Riverside, Idaho to James William and Trieste Burt Detton; she was the youngest of five children. Verda is survived by children Coleene (Clint) Allen, Fortuna, CA; Dean (Agnes) Swainston, Anaconda, MT; Joyce Cox and Linda Spencer both of Kellogg, ID; step-son Philip (Pat) Swauger, Phoenix, AZ and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband's Earl Swainston and John Swauger, son Douglas Swainston, daughter Norma Daily, grandson Douglas Boswoth, great-grandson Nicholas Harrell and siblings Violet, Hortense, Norma, and Ray. Funeral services will be held 10 am Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the Harmony Bluff Ward located at 3024 S. 1200 W. Syracuse, Utah where friends and family may visit from 9- 9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment Brigham City Cemetery, Brigham City, Utah under the direction of Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary.
