Name: Mary Hardy
Gender: Female
Birth Date: 10 Feb 1772
Birth Place: Hollis, N H
[MISTAKEN: Father: Lemuel Hardy Mother: Hannah Jewett of Massachusetts, see below]

Wife of Calvin Hill, traveled with him from their home in Vermont. Where their son Reuben was born in 1800. Believed to have arrived here in about 1810.

PLEASE NOTE: there are 2 different families who are confused with each other in several old family history books. In these family history books it has Lemuel Hardy and Hannah Jewett listed as being the parents of several children, including a Silas and a Mary. There are Hollis, NEW HAMPSHIRE birth certificates for the children listed in these family histories with their exact birth dates and locations, only the birth certificates list LEONARD Hardy as the father and Hannah (no last name listed) as the parents (as above). LEONARD has a son, Silas born in 1763 in Hollis, NH. There is also a christening certificate for LEMUEL and Hannah Jewett's child Silas 1764 in MASSACHUSETTS. Each of these 2 couples have their own marriage dates. Apparently, at some point over a century ago, Leonard and his Hannah and Lemuel and his Hannah's identities were confused
