A Daughter of Nehemiah J. Garrison, a War of 1812 Veteran and one of the first Settlers of Hall County. She married John Dickerson on April 27, 1828, in Hall County.
The Date on her Marker is not Correct, according to "The History of Cherokee County Book", she and The Evans/Garrison/Dickerson and McConnell Families are listed on Several Pages. Stating her b-date as Dec. 1, 1805-Jan. 18, 1873., and that she was the Widow of John Dickerson at 1840.
Her Marker date is listed as, 1801-1844.
She and John Dickerson had 4 Sons, all Believed to be Confederate Soldiers, as were most of her Brothers.
She is a Granddaughter of Revolutionary War Soldier David Garrison, his papers are at The DAR Etowah Chapter in Bartow Co.
Also, I along with other Dickerson and Garrison Family Researchers have found Mary B. Dickerson listed with The Garrisons on the 1850 and 1870 Census of Cherokee County.
