She Married Luther O. Dickerson, a Son of Confederate Soldier Thomas D. Dickerson and Nancy E. Dobbs.
Fondly remembered by her Grandchildren as "Mamma Dixon", made best Chicken and Dumplings, Homeade Ice Cream. A True Southern Lady.
The McCollum, Dickerson and Dobbs Families were among the First Families of Cobb and Cherokee Counties, and North Georgia areas.
She was a daughter of Sarah Ann and William T. McCollum of Cherokee County.
