Elmer Pierson
Princeton-Elmer G. "Ike" Pierson,74, of R.F.D. No. 5, Princeton died August 9 in Perry Memorial Hospital,Princeton.
Services will be at 2pm. Saturday in the Norberg Memorial Home,Princeton with the Rev. Jon Olinger officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 7-9 pm. Friday in the memorial home.
Mr. Pierson was born December 30,1920, in Princeton,to George and Lena( Eickmeier)Pierson. He married Mary E. Duffield on March 9,1952, in Kasbeer.
He farmed in the Princeton area all his working life.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters,Connie LeAnne Pierson of Union City,Ga., and Mrs. Michael (Dee Dee) Gassmann of Peachtree City, Ga.; two sons, John David Pierson of Naperville and Paul Edward Pierson of Peoria; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
