EVELYN L. HUGHES, 87, of Memphis died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Primacy Healthcare. Mrs. Hughes was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, a Red Cross volunteer for 38 years, and a member of the Rainbow Girls. Surviving is her daughter, Louisa Qualls and her son-in-law, Robert Qualls of San Antonio, TX. A visitation will be from Noon to 1 p.m. Friday, October 3, and a service will be at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home in the Riverside Chapel. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
