Murl Moore Ferrell, 94, of Chester, SC, formerly of Lake, died December 25, 2005, at chester Regional Nursing Center, Chester, SC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, O.D. and Emma Hardman Moore; and her husband, Oather "Pepsie" Ferrell.
She was a retired elementary school teacher having taught in WV and OH. She was a graduate of Normantown, West Virginia High School and Glenville State College in Glenville.
Surviving: niece, Mrs. Terry Johnson with whom she made her home; brother, Albert Moore of Glenville; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Ferrell Family Cemetery, Hewett, with the Rev. Roger McCauley officiating.
