Howard was my daddy's first cousin. The mother's were sister's. Howard's mother was Marie Migues and her sister was Laurence Miguez Broussard. Frank Broussard was a 1st cousin that he remained very close to. After Frank died he became very close to Paul and Linda Davis and Children. He was such a gentle man and believed in the Catholic Church.

BILOXI --- Howard Paul Broussard, Sr., age 89, of Biloxi, died Wednesday, April 17, 2002 in Biloxi.
Mr. Broussard was born in New Iberia, La. and had been a resident of the Coast since 1920. He served in the Coast Artillery of the U.S. Army from 1931 to 1934. He retired as a carpenter. He was active in the Fleur de Lise Society. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Biloxi.
He was preceded in death by a son, Philip M. Broussard; his parents, Maurice Broussard and Marie Migues Broussard; a sister, Mrs. Louis (Ruby) Rosetti; and a brother, Edward (Teput) Broussard.
He is survived by his son, Howard Paul Broussard, II of Biloxi; a sister, Mrs. Presley (Yvonne) Raymond of D'Iberville; and two grandchildren, Howard J. Broussard of Biloxi and Jason W. Broussard of California.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 20, 2002, at The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Inc. in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour prior to services.
Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
