Albert S. Gray
A resident of Altoona and a World War veteran died Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Veteran's hospital, Aspinwall, of complications resulting from being gassed during service in the first great strife in Europe. He had been in failing health for the past several years and the greater part of this time was spent in hospitals.

Mr. Gray was born at Dunbar, PA, on April 6, 1888. He served his country with the 147th machine gun company, 57th division. He was a former employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad company until compelled to relinquish work because of failing health.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Leola Gray of 108 East Crawford avenue, a son, Leroy, and the following brothers and sisters: John, Elvie and Robert Gray of Dunbar, William Gray of Mt. Pleasant, Harry M. Gray of Altoona, George S. Gray of Detroit, David H. Gray, whose residence is unknown, and Mrs. Mary Crane of South Fork and Mrs. Sadie M. Musselman of Altoona.

The veteran was buried with the honors of war Saturday afternoon at his native town of Dunbar.

Gray Funeral
The funeral service for Albert S. Gray, 52, who died Thursday in the Veteran's Hospital at Aspinwall, will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the James T. Schank funeral parlor at Dunbar with Rev. William S. Hamilton officiating. Interment will be made in Mount Auburn cemetery. Full military honors will be in charge of Hughes Post of the American Legion of Dunbar.

Mr. Gray, a veteran of the World War, served with the Machine Gun Company, 147th Infantry, 57th Ohio Division. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Leola Gray; one son, Leroy, and these brothers and sister: John, Robert and Alva of Dunbar, Daniel H. and George S. of Detroit, Mrs. Sadie Musselman and Harry M. of Altoona and William of Mount Pleasant
