This beautiful little girl is Susanna Johnston, the daughter of John Campbell Johnston and Mary Brogan Johnston. She was born in New Monkland, Scotland. We are not sure when Susanna died. We do know that she was listed in the census in Scotland, was listed in the Bible Records of her mother Mary Brogan Johnston. Susanna is believed to have passed over here in the United States, but we can't substantiate that with all our trying. We've not been able to locate ship records for her mother's crossing to see if she perhaps passed over on the ship when they came. She is a mystery child. We do know however, that she died before her 10th birthday.
