Howard passed away because of a rupture of the liver after a horrible fall from a wagon and being hit by the tire of the wagon.

Late Tuesday afternoon Howard Banning, who drives a team for F.S. Cornish, while hauling ice from Addison Mill Pond, fell from the high wagon seat and a wheel of the heavily loaded wagon passed over his body.
Doctor W.S. Kingsbury was summoned and advised sending him to Hartford Hospital. It is thought that he has serious internal injuries.

Howard G. Banning 18 years old died of rupture of the liver at the Hartford Hospital yesterday afternoon as a result of a fall from the high seat of F.S. Cornish's wagon in Glastonbury Tuesday evening and being run over by the wheel.
Five months ago he was married to Miss Margaret Ward of Hartford. Besides his wife he leaves his mother Mrs Nellie Banning, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
The Funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 at the home of his mother on Grove Street, Glastonbury.
