James A. Bradstreet, age 56, of Bonita Springs, FL, formerly of Aurora and then LaSalle, Peru, passed away on July 30, 2002 at his home after a long fight with diabetes. James was born December 24, 1945 in Aurora, IL, to the late Louise (Bradstreet) Nelson and Harvey K. Bradstreet Sr.
    Jim was a truck driver his whole life. He retired from Consolidated Freightways after 20 years. Four years ago he moved to Bonita Springs, FL, to enjoy his favorite past time, fishing. He had taken many fishing trips over the years, several trips in Northern Canada and Minnesota.
    Survived by his father, Harvey K. Bradstreet Sr.; his children, Jim Bradstreet, Michelle Bradstreet and Paul Bradstreet; his three brothers, Harvey K. Bradstreet Jr., Gerald Bradstreet, and Ross Bradstreet; a stepsister, Deana Coyer; two stepbrothers, Jim and Jerome Medlin.
    Preceded in death by his mother, Louise (Bradstreet) Nelson; and step mother, Cleo Mercedes Bradstreet; paternal grandparents, Emily and Ross Bradstreet; also his aunt, Evelyn Shepard; and two nephews, Aaron and Matthew Harvey Bradstreet.
    There will be a memorial service at Walter Shiknay's Funeral Home, Bonita Springs, FL, at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, August 3, 2002.
