Charles Bruce Ramage, 63, died Monday, July 26, 1999, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a long illness. He was born January 14, 1936, in Nettleton to Thomas Henderson and Florence Westmoreland Ramage. He lived in Tupelo most of his life. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in industrial education and a master's degree in counseling. After graduating, he taught for three years at Clarksdale High School. He was vocational evaluator at the Regional Rehabilitation Center. He was the first vocational evaluator at Allied Enterprises in Tupelo and was the facility manager at Allied. He was the assistant area supervisor for the Social Security Trust Fund and Allied Enterprises program. He was a psychometrist for Area II Allied Enterprises Program and a work adjustment specialist at Allied Personal Adjustment Center. He was a Christian and a member of St. Luke Methodist Church. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He was an old radio enthusiast.

Services were in the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with the Rev. Ron Barham and the Rev. Michael Hicks officiating. Burial was in Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Dismuke Ramage of Tupelo; one daughter, Angi Ramage of Tupelo; one son, Randy Ramage and his wife, Amy, of Tupelo; two brothers, Wesley Ramage and his wife, Nette, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Buddy Ramage and his wife, Helen, of Verona; one grandchild, Kyle Ramage of Tupelo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Ottis Ramage.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Brooks, Tommy Harris, Fred Pettigrew, Kermit Sides, James Sloan and Ted Gandy. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Friendship Class at St. Luke United Methodist Church.
