Born the daughter of Franklin Isaac Taft and Fannie Elizabeth Clark in Marshalltown, IA. Married to Dwight Willis Darling on June 1, 1939. Five daughters, Lorraine Edith, Rosamund Elizabeth, LeAnn, LeNell Louise, and Ellen Sue Darling. Loved to work crossword puzzles and is remembered for some of the decoupage she created. Moved to Peoria, IL in 1948 and to Topeka, KS in 1994 when Dwight died. Remained in Topeka, KS until 2007 when she moved to Rockford, IL until her death on December 27, 2009.
