He was born Nov. 17, 1929, in Lincoln, the son of Henry J. and Lucille Lumpp Diersing. He married Patricia Comstock in 1953 in Lincoln.
Mr. Diersing was employed as a design engineer with MII, Inc., retiring in 1991. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln and a U.S. Army veteran, serving in 1952. Survivors: wife, Patricia; two daughters, Jill Haseley of Beason and Jaye Diersing of Frisco, Texas; and two brothers, Henry Diersing of Mansfield, Ohio, and Richard Diersing of Bellingham, Wash.
Services: First Presbyterian Church, Lincoln, the Rev. Paul Gilmore. Burial: Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.
