Son of Mrs. Carolina Nalbone who resided in Trenton, New Jersey during the war.

Samuel served as a Firemen Second Class, U.S. Coast Guard, during World War II.

He resided in New Jersey prior to the war.

Samuel was declared "Missing In Action" during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart.

He also has a memorial marker at Section MA, Site 80 at the Beverly National Cemetery
