Mrs. John Anderson, or better known to the residents of Portville as Mrs. Johnson, passed away at the home of her daughter in Bradford last Sunday afternoon. She had reached the age of 86, the past thirty year of her life having been spent in Portville. She is survived by three daughters Mrs. Lewis Larson of Bradford, Mrs. Albert Anderson of Olean, and Mrs. Charles Wendel of Seattle, Wash., and two sons, August Johnson of Seattle and Lewis Johnson of this place.
