OBITUARY
FARMER
Roy Farmer died very suddenly on Saturday morning while on his way up town. He got as far as Dr. Baily's residence when he sank to the ground. Help was immediately secured and he was taken into Dr. Baily's house. A physician was called and gave him temporary care. He had a sinking spell from which he did not rally and died before his wife could reach him. He was taken to his home where an inquest was held, the verdict being "death from natural causes."
Leroy Farmer was born in Licking county, Ohio, on Sept. 10, 1846 and at an early age came to this county where he has since resided. He leaves his wife, to whom he was married on April 25, 1882, and one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Woods, of this city, and two step-daughters, Mrs. Lennie Mustard, of Canton and Mrs. Don Quigley of Champaign.
Mr. Farmer has always been a hard working man, and a man of clean habits. His death has come as a terrible shock to his family.
The funeral was held on Monday afternoon at the Methodist church.
It was in charge of the Rev. M.S. Swisher. Burial was held in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
