Thaddeus S. Stalnaker, Co. C, 11th West Virginia Infantry. Born in Randolph County, Virginia (WV), ca. 1843. Enlisted 11/1861. Died 11/2/1864, at Sheridan Field Hospital, Winchester, Va., of disease.

*Headstone is mismarked. Salathiel S. Stalnaker, another veteran of the 11th West Virginia, died years after the war, and was buried in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
