"Brenda was born February 2, 1949 to Arthur and Norma Steffey in Coleman Texas. Brenda graduated from Coleman High School and was a beautician in Coleman and Brownwood for many years. She was a member of the High Mesa Cowboy Church where she never met a stranger and loved life to the fullest.
"She is survived by one son Everett LeMond and wife Tiffany of Brownwood, her grandchildren Chance, Sierra, and Taylor LeMond, Mynda Holland-Lamb, and Kyndra Wheeless; her sister Sharon Cook of San Saba, 2 brothers Donald Steffey and wife Patty of Brownwood,and Danny Steffey and wife Shannon of Missouri, and her Fiance' Herb Smith of Gorman.
"She was preceded in death by her husband Everett Firl LeMond, and daughter Myrendra Wheeless and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the High Mesa Cowboy Church with Todd King officiating, interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Blaylock Funeral Home.
"The family asks in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the High Mesa Cowboy Church. Arrangements under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood."
