Ms. Taylor was born in Coleman, Texas to Henry Floyd and Gail Preas Rider. She was a resident of Early, Texas for the last 30 years and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Ms. Taylor drove a school bus for the Brownwood Independent Schoot District in the early 1980's. She later worked for South Park Development Center. In 1997, she accepted a position with the Texas Youth Commision. She retired in 2003.
Ms. Taylor passed away in Brownwood, Texas. She is survived by one son, two daughters, and seven grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Gail Rider and her grandparents.
