The Maury County native was a member of First United Methodist Church and daughter of the late Eligia and Minnie Stone Dodson. She was the wife of the late J.C. Coggins Sr. She was preceded in death by a son, J.C. Coggin Jr., who died in 1967.
Survivors include a dauther, Mrs. Joe H. (Virginia) Hackney of Knoxville; a sister, Mrs. Louise Shaw of Columbia; a brother, B.W. Dodson of Columbia; and three grandchildren.
