I., late Quartermaster Sergeant (active list), 2d Bat'l Engineers, died September 6, 1914, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Washington, D. C.; buried at Flushing, L. I., with full military honors in St. Mary's Cemetery; funeral services conducted by W. S. Overton Camp No. 29, and a firing squad furnished from Fort Totten, N. Y."
