Anton Kempczynski Dead at 99
Anton Kempczynski, who had spent the greater part of his life in this city up to five years ago, died at the home of his son, Walter, in Aurora, ILL., at three o'clock Sunday morning, June 12th. Death followed a brief illness incident to his advanced age.
He was born in Poland on May 9th, 1833, and came to this country as a young man, settling in this city, where he made his home up to five years ago at which time he went to Aurora, ILL., to live with his son.
On Nov. 3rd, 1927, he was preceded in death by his wife and he is survived by the following three children: John of Chicago, Mrs. Joseph Yasger of Little Falls, Minn., and Walter of Aurora. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Remain were brought to this city and funeral services were held at St. Michael's church at 9:15 o'clock Tuesday morning with burial in St. Michael's cemetery.
