Services will be noon Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Burial will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. A memorial fund will be established at a later date.
Cheryle was born June 15, 1951, in Davenport. She married John Engeland on Oct. 18, 1980, in Rock Island.
Mrs. Engeland was a homemaker. Cheryle was a former member of the Rock Island Moose Lodge, and was active with organizing different bowling events for leagues at Town and Country Bowl, Rock Island. She especially loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, John; children, Brandie Durbin, Rock Island, Stephanie Engeland, Rock Island, Johnetta Engeland, Rock Island, Russell Engeland and special friend, Kim Horton, Rock Island, Danny Nelan and special friend, Alaina Cater, Coal Valley, and Gregory Gundrum, Davenport; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Briggs and spouse, Vincent, Missouri, Pam Treager, California; and a brother, Carl Keding, Davenport.
