Thomas Massie Boyd was the son of Thomas Massie Boyd and Daisy May Simpson.


Corporal Thomas Massie Boyd, III began his tour of duty in Vietnam on February 19, 1968. He was assigned to HHM-362, MAG-15, 1ST MAW, III MAF. On May 13, 1968, his helicopter went down after suffering engine failure upon liftoff in Military Region 3, South Vietnam and crashed at sea.


CPL Boyd is listed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial - The Wall on Panel 59E, Line 16.
