Mary Ann Osborn Dykeman/Dikeman and Thomas Wood were married on March 10, 1852 in Redding, Fairield County CT where Thomas was working as a hatter. They dwelt in Reading for one year; at Bethel CT, four years, where she birthed her first child, Horatio Lindley Wood; at Allen IL until July 1865 where she birthed her second & third sons, Howard Everett & Horace Greeley Wood, and then buried her second son, Howard Everett; thence they moved to Harlan Iowa where they were living in 1876, and where she birthed and buried her fourth child, a daughter, Gracie; they were living in Round Rock TX by 1880. Mary Ann died in Round Rock where she is buried in the Pioneer section of Round Rock Cemetery.
