The Carroll County Times, Saturday, April 1, 2000: ALBERT R. HAHN, 95, of Taneytown
Albert Ray Hahn, 95, of Taneytown, died Friday, March 31, 2000, at Westminster Nursing and Convalescent Center.
Born Oct. 9, 1904, in Taneytown, he was the son of the late Newton J. and Nannie V. Shriner Hahn. He was the husband of Lillie M. Hahn.
He was a farmer for most of his life; following retirement he worked as a caretaker for The Antrim Inn, in Taneytown. He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Keysville.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son and daughter-in-law, Carroll and Sherrie Hahn of Taneytown; sisters Grace Hahn and Catherine Heiges, both of Taneytown; a granddaughter; a grandson; and three great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by infant son Maynard R. Hahn; sister Marion Mulhorn; and brothers George F. and Carroll N. "Pete" Hahn.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday at Skiles Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, with the Rev. John Silassy officiating. Interment will be in Keysville Union Cemetery, Keymar.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
